Monster Energy Wakeboard Rail Jam to be featured at
Dallas Summer Boat Show Outdoor Expo

DALLAS, TX (July 18th, 2007) – The 22nd annual Dallas Summer Boat Show returns to Dallas Market Hall with two very special attractions in the new “Outdoor Expo” area.

The show kicks off this weekend (July 20th -22nd) with an exciting Wakeboard Pool Gap/Rail Jam demonstration in the expo area featuring some of the top riders in the state. The pro wakeboard set-up will feature three portable pools filled with over 50,000 gallons of water and connected with a “kicker” ramp and a 30 foot slider rail and powered by a high-speed winch, all provided by Orlando based action sports producers, Step-Up Productions.

“In addition to having our tremendous boat show that includes deals for the ‘first time’ boater/fisher to the boating and fishing aficionado; this year’s summer boat show has it all. We have added two new events for each weekend that will bring an even more exciting and fun-filled aspect to the Summer Boat Show,” explains Frank Pillsbury, Spokesperson for the Dallas Summer Boat Show.

Scheduled to perform at the wakeboard rail jam will be Liquid Force Wakeboard pro team rider Tom Fooshee and CWB Wakeboard pro team rider Gabe Lucas. Both Texas based riders are regulars on the Pro Wakeboard Tour and are featured regularly in national industry publication Wakeboarding Magazine. Fooshee is featured on the cover of the August 2007 issue. They will be joined by several other top local riders and will be doing demos throughout the weekend.

The weekend wakeboard rail jam demo schedule is as follows:
                        Friday, July 20th at 6pm
                        Saturday, July 21st at 3p and 7p
                        Sunday, July 22nd at 1pm and 4pm

For the second weekend of the boat show (July 27th, 28th, and 29th) the new Outdoor Expo will feature Family Fishing Weekend.  There will be a kids fishing tank and casting contests as well as outdoor and boating education for the entire family. Participate in interactive games for prizes and hear tips from local guides and pro anglers. This weekend will also feature the 61’ famous GEICO RACING BOAT.

Various dealers throughout North Texas will tout every kind of boat possible for purchase, including cruiser, bass, motor, pleasure and run-a-bouts. Dealers also offer financing options on site and provide quality customer service guaranteeing their warranty work. While the Summer Boat Show promises to introduce a few new models for 2008, it is known for seasonal close-outs and hot deals, allowing dealers to make room for 2008 nautical pursuits on their showroom floor. “This is the perfect time for the new boater to make his first purchase at a reasonable price and be able to compare with all the other dealers under one roof.  In fact, this year we will also be offering seminars for the new boater,” explains Mr. Pillsbury.

Whether the boating enthusiast is looking for sporty lakeside fun, something utilitarian for fishing adventures, luxury liner yachts or a relaxing family entertainment outlet, the Dallas Summer Boat Show features something for everyone under one roof for all ages. Show hours will be:
