FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Fraser, MI—April 30, 2007—Extremity Events Network, Inc. is pleased to announce open registration for the 2007 O&P Extremity Games. Early bird registration discount is available until May 31, 2007.
The O&P Extremity Games is an extreme amateur sporting competition for individuals, 13 years and older, living with limb loss or limb difference. The event allows participants to demonstrate skill, persistence and passion while competing for cash and other prizes - proving There’s No Replacement for the Competitive Spirit. The inaugural 2006 O&P Extremity Games rocked with over 500 participating athletes, sponsors, spectators and volunteers.
“The first O&P Extremity Games was a landmark event and surpassed our expectations. The athletes were amazing and, definitely, defied any preconceived conceptions of their abilities. We look forward to seeing all the returning athletes as well as a lot of new faces at eX2,“ commented Eric Robinson, president of College Park Industries, founding sponsor of the O&P Extremity Games. “We’ve expanded the number of events and divisions to make this year’s event even more exciting then 2006. We look forward to seeing everyone in Florida.”
eX2 takes place July 19-21, 2007 at the Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, FL. The expanded event includes skateboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing, BMX biking, mountain biking, Moto-X, kayaking, and surfing. Many of the judged competitions contain gender and experience-level breakout divisions for a total cash purse over $45,000, in addition to other non-cash prizes. No charge instructional clinics will also be held.
Sponsors include College Park Industries, Trijicon, Orthotics and Prosthetics Group of America, Wright & Filippis, AntaleX Incorporated, Canada’s Best Store Fixtures, Aristocast, 3D Systems, Endolite, Ford Mobility Motoring, Winfield Industries, Ohio Willow Wood, Paragon Manufacturing, Edscha and numerous other generous individuals, organizations and companies.
