‘No Worries” for Brantwood Children’s Home
MONTGOMERY, ALA. (May 2, 2007) -- Brantwood Children’s Home will be the beneficiary of the “No Worries Wake Board Tournament” sponsored by the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association (GMHBA). The 2007 Southeast Regional tournament, to be held this summer on the Coosa River at Gold Star Park in Wetumpka, will take place over three Saturdays – June 9th, July 14th and August 11th. There will be a free clinic for all tournament participants offered the day before each event and cash prizes will be awarded to winners of each event as well as to the overall Tour Champion.
The No Worries tour is a non-profit organization dedicated to building strong family relationships while helping others less fortunate. The tournament is designed to allow participation from all age groups and experience levels and will include participants from all over the country.
For more than 85 years, Brantwood Children’s Home has supplied a safe, stable, structured environment for dependent, neglected, abused, and other “at-risk” children. Brantwood is a non-profit organization serving children ages 10-21 by providing for and supervising their education, health and social adjustment into the community.
Created in 1950 by a group of builders, the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association currently boasts more than 1,300 business members representing more than 30,000 individuals in Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga counties.
