T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Contest/Competition 2007.

The Competition will be held from Saturday, 25-08-2007 - Sunday 26-08-2007 and will be in the Open Men category only.

Rules/Sanctioning: The Competition will be carried out using the (WWA) World Wakeboard Association Wake Park Rules
The format/heat system will be that set forth by the organizers.
Drawing Facilities: 9mm Cableway, 6 Mast system, 10-10, 5m high, 18.5 m long ropes.
Obstacles/Structures: 2 Kickers, 2 Table sliders, 1 Fun-Box with Wallride

Attention: This Competition is limited (with 14 Places in the semi finals).
There will be 10 invited riders set for the Final Day. 3 additional riders will reach the Finals through the qualifications on Saturday and 1 will be the winner of the “local support /wild card ” event from a comp 4 weeks before. There are only 30 spots available for the qualification rounds and they will be on a first come first serve basis, so please register now to get your spot.
Training: Training for competitors is free of charge and will be held on Friday, August 24th from 15:00 (3 pm) Sunset and on Saturday, August 25th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 pm.
Rider’s Meeting: Saturday August 25th – 12:30 pm.
Qualifications Day: Saturday August 25th – 14:30(2:30) pm
In the first round there will be 3 heats with 10 Riders in each
heat (depending on the total number of riders). The top 3 riders will
advance to the next round.
18:15 (6:15) pm
The last round of the Qualification will consist of 1 heat with 9
Riders. The top 3 Riders move to the Finals Day.
Finals Day: Sunday August 26th -15:25 (3:25) pm
14 riders will compete in a head 2 head format (“best of 2 Runs”) in the 1st round (knock-out-system).The best rider from each round will move on to the 2nd Round. 7 Riders will advance to this round and 1 rider will be voted in by the audience (“the “lucky looser”), so that in the end there will be 8 Riders total in 2nd Round .
Finals: Sunday August 26th
The Final round will be a head 2 head format (“one run per rider”)

Seeding: Seeding for riders will be based on results from all 2007 WWA
Wake Park /Cable events. Riders who have not competed in these
events will be seeded randomly.
Only the best riders will compete at The Summer Session for the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds taking place August 25th and 26th in Hamburg, Germany. Riders will have to battle their way through the open qualification on Saturday, August, 25th where the top three BMX and Wakeboard qualifiers will compete against 10 invited riders and the T-Mobile Wildcard winner in the finals on Sunday, August 26th for $12,500 in prize money.
Top riders from around the world will put on an action packed show as they go head to head in the finals, broadcasted live on M-TV Europe Sunday, August 26th. Invited wake riders include Tom Fooshee and Donald Shelbrick of the US, Australian Sam Collins, Nick Davies of the UK, Emil Tzolov of Bulgaria, Austrian Daniel Fetz, French World Champ Laurent Perychou, Mike Ketellaper of the Netherlands and Peter Pascal Schmidt and Jan Sauer of Germany.
