Champions to be Crowned at Malibu Boats Houston Pro in October
Lake Alfred, Fla. (September 3, 2015) – The final stop of the Malibu Evolution Pro Series will take place at Bel-Ray Action Sports Park Lake and Hangar 9 Wake Park in Houston, Texas as the Malibu Boats Houston Pro Presented by Rockstar is ready to begin on Friday, October 2nd. With both Wakeboard World Series and Wake Park World Series comprising the Houston Pro event, the weekend is sure to thrill everyone on the shore.
“We have had a tremendous season and to finish it off in Houston at Pat Panakos’ newest wakepark facility, is a fitting end,” said WWA President Shannon Starling. “Malibu continues to help bring innovation to the sport and with the new facility in Houston we are looking forward to a great event. As we all know, everything is bigger in Texas and there is no doubt that this event will continue in that tradition”
The Malibu Houston Pro marks the final round of the 2015 Wakeboard World Series featuring the best riders in the world competing on the best wake as they are towed behind the Malibu Wakesetter 25 LSV. There will be action over at the cable park as well, as the Houston event marks the midpoint of the season.
There will be more than $125,000 on the line in Houston as the Wakeboard Pro Men and Women will be competing on the boat, in addition there will be Pro Men and Women also competing in Traditional and Features Only Cable events.
