The Festival Among the Lakes Wakeboard Tournament Presented by the Town of Windermere, Florida will be here before you know it. The Windermere Rotary Festival Among the Lakes is set to take place April 16 & 17 at Camp Down, which is located on the shores of Lake Down, Windermere, FL. The Tournament is part of a weekend long festival presented by the Town of Windermere and the Rotary Club of Windermere that will raise over $100,000 for local charities. The Festival also includes live bands and entertainment, boat show, arts & crafts, and food booths, along with a large fair for children. The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) is naming the Extremity Games (eXG) as a qualifier for the new Adaptive Standing and Adaptive Sit-Boarding Divisions for the 2011 Air Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships. Extremity Games, which is set to take place June 24-25 at Texas Ski Ranch in New Braunfels, Texas, is an extreme sports competition for individuals living with limb loss or limb difference. The WWA and Extremity Games are fired up about this new partnership. Like the Athletes with Disabilities Network says There is No Replacement for the Competitive Spirit™.
