SUMMARY:Wake The World - Badin Lake - Adaptive Watersports
DESCRIPTION:Wake the World (WTW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a group of boat owners providing watersports opportunities to abandoned\, abused and neglected children\, as well as for the handicapped and our wounded warriors. \n  WTW began in 2008 with 8 families providing a day on the lake for some residents of a local children’s home. \n In 2013\, WTW became the largest all volunteer organization of its kind\, with over 300 volunteered boats world-wide! \n  We strive to make these events as easy as possible to host\, and have a network of boat volunteers and sponsors to help support each event. We also provide insurance and liability waivers for every local event. \n  All WTW events are sanctioned and insured through the WWA (World Wakeboard Association). \nWe want to make it easy for YOU to be a blessing to others and be blessed by taking part in a local WTW event near you. \n   \n  To register to be a volunteer\, click here. \n   \n  To find out more about hosting your own event\, click here.

SUMMARY:SC Rough Riders
DESCRIPTION:In 2004\, a group of local watersports enthusiasts started a grassroots effort to bring a top pro wakeboarder to Lake Murray. The effort was a success\, and the group dubbed ‘The Rough Riders’ hosted a weekend with two pro wakeboarders in June 2005. In the following years\, the event continued and gained support of local boat dealers and businesses. The Weekend With The Pros has grown to a two day event now attended by over 1\,200 spectators.
