Set against the epic backdrop of Gold Coast Wake Park\, riders from all corners of the wake park community will converge for a thrilling showcase of skill\, style\, and sportsmanship on September 21-24th. \n														\n															 \nDEADLINE to sign up is Wednesday\, September 18th. Please await finalized riding orders and schedule\, to be posted Thursday September 19th. \n														\n															\n														\n															\n			\n									Wake Park Worlds Athlete Updates\n					\n			\n									Practice schedule\n					 \n\n					\n                \n\n					\n                \n\n					\n                \n\n					\n                \n\n					\n                \nAmateur Features Divisions:\n													\n									Jam session:\n									Sections:\n									Scoring:\n									Jam session: \n\n7 minute jam session\nUp to 6 competitors on the cable in each jam session\nNO outside assistance getting back to the dock\, however if a rider removes their board from the lake\, they are allowed to change boards in the middle of heat\nTricks after the clock are not allowed\, riders must be on the features to count trick\nJudges score riders and rank from first to last\, no ties in a section so if riders do the same trick\, judges must delineate using our DRIVE format (listed below)\nOnly your single best trick on each section will be scored\nIf you fall\, safely make your way back to the dock and restart. (Time is still running!)\n\n									Sections: \n\nSection 1: 19%\nSection 2: 21%\nSection 3: 16%\nSection 4: 24%\nSection 5/Kickers: 20%\n\n									Scoring: \n\nWe score on Execution and Difficulty\nJudges want to see good execution on all tricks (clean/well grabbed/not zeached/not prespun)\n\n* Tie Breaker will go to the rider that placed higher in 3 out of the 5 sections* Times\, sections and percentages are subject to change\, please prepare accordingly. \nElite/Open Features Divisions:\n													\n									Format:\n									Scoring: (knockout and finals)\n									Format: \n\nAmatuer Feature Format until Finals\n\n\nFinals is a 45 min timed Run based Jam format (as many attempts at a run as time allows)\nThe run starts at Tower 3 and ends at Tower 1\nNo Air tricks allowed\nThere will be no pickups\nIf you drag\, tumble up (your hips are behind you) your run WILL NOT BE SCORED and you risk being disqualified from the entire event\nHot dog handles are caused by the rider\, if you fall your run is over\, if you do not fall\, you have one lap to reset handle and continue your run after the hot dog handle occurred\nFinal score will be out of 100\nBest run counts\n\n									Scoring: (knockout and finals) \n\nWe score on the EDC format: execution\, difficulty\, composition\nOverall Impression.
