DESCRIPTION:HOW IT WORKS \n\n Participants will record an unedited 4 trick\, 30-40 second pass and upload the video to your Instagram account (tag: @TheWWA and #MastersWakeLCQ) by April 15th\, 2023. The video may not be video that has been previously submitted in the virtual LCQ and must be footage from the current calendar year. Any footage filmed outside of this calendar year is subject to disqualification.\nThe winners will be announced on May 1st\, 2023.\nParticipants may only submit one video\, so perfect your contest pass before uploading.\nThe videos will be judged according to WWA rules by a WWA World Series judging panel.\nThe top riders in each division will receive an invite to compete at the Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament on May 26th-28th.\nAll Masters LCQ participants will be awarded points to the WWA Wakeboard World Series and/or the Nautique Wake Series overall points race.\n\nCONTEST VIDEO GUIDELINES \n\nJuniors divisions will have an entry fee of $100.\nJunior Men’s and Junior Women’s divisions are open to riders with a current WWA Annual membership under the age of 18. (All ages are as of January 1st  2023).\nPro divisions will have an entry fee of $150.\nPro Men’s and Pro Women’s riders must hold a current WWA Pro Membership.\nYour video must show one unedited\, 4 trick line in 30-40 seconds shot from the towboat.\nPlease refrain from having music in your video.\nThe rider must remain in the frame throughout the duration of the video.\nVideos may be shot horizontal or in Reels vertical format.\nThere are no minimum video resolution restrictions\, but all tricks\, including grabs\, must be seen clearly in order to be judged properly.\nYou will not be judged on the quality of your video production\, but on your tricks according to the current WWA judging criteria\, which can be found HERE.\n\nHOW TO ENTER \n\nDownload the WWA Rideline App (available FREE on iOS\, Android and Google devices) and create an account.\nRegister for the event under the events tab. Any unsportsmanlike conduct on-site or at any of the event accommodations will not be tolerated. Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to the individual and/or entire team being disqualified from the event and/or a permanent ban from all of Aktion Parks. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUnsportsmanlike Conduct – Any Athlete Spectator or Official whose conduct is deemed unsportsmanlike\, or who may cause discredit to the sport\, the WWA\, sponsors\, or that persons country federation\, either on or off the contest site\, including but not limited to lodging\, restaurants\, etc\, during the period of time of the contest may be fined and/or disqualified\, as determined by the event organizer\,  WWA Chief Judge\, and/or WWA management.  Unsportsmanlike conduct includes\, but is not limited to: bullying\, vulgar language\, public tantrums\, fighting\, cheating\, not riding to the fullest potential\, failure to attend mandatory functions or events\, consuming alcoholic beverages during competition\, competing under false pretenses\, concealing significant injuries or health problems. A rider disqualified in this manner would forfeit their prize money for that contest and all points and could result in the disqualification of an individual riders entire home team (country team\, Wake Park team\, etc.)  This paragraph shall not be construed to deny or limit any individual’s legal rights. All fines issued shall be paid to the World Wake Association. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from any future contests until fine is paid.

DESCRIPTION:The Malibu Rider Experience is a watersports filled weekend for ALL ability levels with family-friendly instruction and competition. Saturday is an opportunity to LEARN wakeboarding or wakesurfing for the very first time or to get tips on a new trick from one of the Malibu Boats Pro athletes on hand. We welcome all to come get on the water with us. Sunday is the Regional Championships to qualify riders from Nationals – with divisions for all ages and abilities\, you can come compete yourself in this fun first competition or claim a spot on the shoreline to watch the action! \nStep 1 – Register for the event! If you register for the Regional Championships contest\, your demo/practice on Saturday is included in your entry fee\, there’s no need to purchase both.
