SUMMARY:Texas Ski Ranch Traditional Nationals Qualifier #3
DESCRIPTION:Compete locally to qualify for the 2021 WWA Wakepark National Championships at Elite Cable Park August 1-4th! \n2021 Nautique WWA Wakepark National Championships \nDIVISIONS: (Age as of Jan 1st) \nTraditional Cable:\n1. Beginner Wakeboard\n2. Amateur Wakeskate\n3. Novice Wakeboard\n4. Intermediate Wakeboard\n5. Advanced Wakeboard\n6. Professional Wakeskate\n7. Professional Wakeboard \nDIVISION SCORING: \nTraditional Cable:\nBeg. Wakeboard: 50% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 10% Ollie Tricks / 10% Composition\nAm. Wakeskate: 35% Sliders / 35% Kickers / 20% FlatsTricks / 10% Composition\nNov. Wakeboard: 40% Sliders / 40% Kickers / 10% Ollie & Air Tricks / 10% Composition\nInt. Wakeboard: 35% Sliders / 35% Kickers / 20% Ollie & Air Tricks / 10% Composition\nAdv and Pro Wakeboard 30% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 30% Air Tricks / 10% Composition\nPro Wakeskate 20% Sliders / 25% Kickers / 35% Air Tricks / 20% Composition\n• (Pro & Adv percentages have changed to match world series percentages\, the risk for kickers is far higher than rail hits. While riders may not get their exact hit on a rail\, they rarely fall. Features only highlights rails and then kickers\, traditional is held to showcase the most well rounded riders through all three disciplines and now composition has also been raised to verify the strength of the overall run.) \nFORMAT: \nTraditional Cable:\nEach rider will get two turns. The rider’s run will begin when he or she leaves the dock and will continue until he or she falls\, or the carrier reaches tower one a second time. This means the rider gets a full lap and an extra pass on the first stretch. (This may vary from site to site due to size of the cable\, at TSR the run ends after the rails in stretch one\, at BSR the end is after the kickers) The rider must let go before tower one. We will go through the running order and then return to the first rider and go through the complete order a second time. The judges will choose the riders best run and discard the other completely. All divisions EXCEPT beginner & amateur wakeskate will get a wildcard. The wildcard is one extra trick that will be added to the riders best run. The wildcard trick should be done immediately following the riders second turn if he or she does not fall. Just remain riding and perform your wildcard where appropriate. If the rider falls on their second run they should immediately return to the starting dock to get their wildcard turn. While on your wildcard lap ONLY do the single wildcard trick or the judges may score the wrong trick. The same trick will not be scored twice in the same run but can be repeated in the second run since the judges will be taking the best turn not a combination of the two.

SUMMARY:Quest ATX Nationals Traditional & Features Only Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:Compete locally to qualify for the 2021 WWA Wakepark National Championships at Elite Cable Park August 1-4th! \n2021 Nautique WWA Wakepark National Championships \nQuest ATX will be participating in the WWA Points Chase series and will be hosting a one-day event on Friday\, July 16th\, 2021. Both Traditional and Features Only competitions will be held to qualify for the August WWA Nationals Points Chase Event at Elite Cable Park in Auburndale\, Florida.  All qualifying riders will represent team Quest. \nTop three riders from each division qualify while those placing 4th and 5th will be able to attend Nationals as alternates. \nWe will hold Traditional in the morning and Features Only in the afternoon. \nTraditional Format: \nEach rider will be judged based off their best “front stretch only” line. For time efficiency purposes\, the traditional competition will only be the front stretch of the cable lake. Each qualifying heat will allow every rider to have two runs (we take the score from the best run of the 2). \nTo break that down\, the rider will leave the dock and once they have hit the water\, the rider will hit as many features creating their best lines down the front stretch. If the rider successfully gets to the end of the front stretch\, they will then complete one lap without hitting anything on the back stretch (the rider’s run is complete if rider falls on back stretch and no points are received if any features on back stretch are hit). Once the rider gets back to Motor Tower\, they will have one outside kicker hit (our cable spins clockwise). That will complete the riders traditional run. \nPercentages of each feature for Traditional and Features only will soon be announced after the park setup is confirmed for the competition. \nFeatures Only Format: \nFeatures only format TBA with features setup change. \nWe welcome all to participate! \nTraditional Cable Divisions\n• Beginner Wakeboard\n• Amateur Wakeskate\n• Novice Wakeboard\n• Intermediate Wakeboard\n• Advanced Wakeboard\n• Professional Wakeskate\n• Professional Wakeboard \nFeatures Only Divisions\n• Pro Men\n• Women (at Nationals both Pro and Open)\n• Masters Ages 30+ (at Nationals both Masters 30-39 & Veterans 40+)\n• Open Ages 19 – 29\n• Juniors Ages 15 – 18\n• Kids Ages 10 – 14\n• Groms Age 9 & under \nTRICK LIMITATIONS:\nFeatures Only: No Restrictions \nTraditional Cable:\nBeginner Wakeboard:\nKickers: Spins – Front Side 180s Only\, Add some style!
