DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Malibu Rider Experience is a watersports filled weekend for ALL ability levels with family-friendly instruction and competition. Saturday is an opportunity to LEARN wakeboarding or wakesurfing for the very first time or to get tips on a new trick from one of the Malibu Boats Pro athletes on hand. We welcome all to come get on the water with us. Sunday is the Regional Championships to qualify riders from Nationals – with divisions for all ages and abilities\, you can come compete yourself in this fun first competition or claim a spot on the shoreline to watch the action! \nStep 1 – Register for the event! If you register for the Regional Championships contest\, your demo/practice on Saturday is included in your entry fee\, there’s no need to purchase both. If you just want to get on the water for a demo to ride with the pros or get some instruction\, you should purchase the Shreddin’ Saturday option. \nStep 2 – Once you’ve registered for the event\, if you wish you may go ahead and schedule your demo session for Saturday. If you do not reserve a time\, we will fill boats on a first come first serve basis \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n  \nThe Regional Championships contest official riding order will be posted on site during the riders meeting at 8:45AM local time on Sunday\, June 12th. DESCRIPTION:HOW IT WORKS \n\n Participants will record an unedited 4 trick\, 25-30 second pass and upload the video to your Instagram account (tag: @TheWWA and #MastersWakeLCQ) by April 22nd\, 2022. The video may not be video that has been previously submitted in the virtual LCQ.\nThe winners will be announced on May 6th\, 2022.\nParticipants may only submit one video\, so perfect your contest pass before uploading.\nThe videos will be judged according to WWA rules by a WWA World Series judging panel.\nThe top riders in each division will receive an invite to compete at the Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament on May 27th-29th.\nAll Masters LCQ participants will be awarded points to the WWA Wakeboard World Series and/or the Nautique Wake Series overall points race.\n\nCONTEST VIDEO GUIDELINES \n\nJuniors divisions will have an entry fee of $100.\nJunior Men’s and Junior Women’s divisions are open to riders with a current WWA Annual membership under the age of 18.
