Features only highlights rails and then kickers\, traditional is held to showcase the most well rounded riders through all three disciplines and now composition has also been raised to verify the strength of the overall run.) \nFORMAT: \nTraditional Cable:\nEach rider will get two turns. The rider’s run will begin when he or she leaves the dock and will continue until he or she falls\, or the carrier reaches tower one a second time. This means the rider gets a full lap and an extra pass on the first stretch. (This may vary from site to site due to size of the cable\, at TSR the run ends after the rails in stretch one\, at BSR the end is after the kickers) The rider must let go before tower one. We will go through the running order and then return to the first rider and go through the complete order a second time. The judges will choose the riders best run and discard the other completely. All divisions EXCEPT beginner & amateur wakeskate will get a wildcard. The wildcard is one extra trick that will be added to the riders best run. The wildcard trick should be done immediately following the riders second turn if he or she does not fall. Just remain riding and perform your wildcard where appropriate. If the rider falls on their second run they should immediately return to the starting dock to get their wildcard turn. While on your wildcard lap ONLY do the single wildcard trick or the judges may score the wrong trick. The same trick will not be scored twice in the same run but can be repeated in the second run since the judges will be taking the best turn not a combination of the two.

We’re glad you asked! We’ll have a pop up pro-shop on site for all your gear needs! \n\n\nCOMPETITION FORMAT\nEach surfer will get a total of two passes (one down\, one back) or six minutes for their competition run\, with the exception of the Novice division which will have seven minutes to complete their two-pass run. Judging begins when the surfer passes the start/stop buoy OR drops the rope. There is a three fall limit for each surfer. \nWe are a WWA Sanctioned event and will\, therefore\, be following the WWA Competition Format. Our goal is to have a fun\, but competitive grass-roots event that inspires every rider to make waves and ride hard. \nThe top three podium finishers in each division will be awarded during two ceremonies (morning and afternoon). \n  \n\n\n\n\nDIVISIONS\nNOVICE\, INTERMEDIATE\, AND ADVANCED DIVISIONS ARE MIXED WITH BOTH MALE & FEMALE SURFERS COMPETING TOGETHER. \nNOVICE (ALL AGES\, Guys & Girls): Surf with or without the rope\, choice of surf side \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nINTERMEDIATE (ALL AGES\, Guys & Girls): Can drop the rope\, stay with the wave and make some turns\n\n\n\n\nADVANCED (ALL AGES\, Guys & Girls): Turns\, airs and no more than two 360 variations\n\n\n\n\nMASTERS GIRLS (AGES 35+): Turns\, airs\, 360s and shuv-it maneuvers are allowed\, but we encourage our 35+ surfers to compete in this division regardless of their skill level.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMASTERS GUYS (AGES 35+): Turns\, airs\, 360s and shuv-it maneuvers are allowed\, but we encourage our 35+ surfers to compete in this division regardless of their skill level.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nOUTLAW CHICKS (ALL AGES\, GIRLS): Confidently and consistently do turns\, airs\, multiple 360s\, shuv-its and three-shuvs as well as big spin variations\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nOUTLAW DUDES (ALL AGES\, GUYS): Confidently and consistently do turns\, airs\, multiple 360s\, shuv-its and three-shuvs as well as big spin variations \n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER
