Russell Marine will sponsor the 4th Annual Riverfront Wake Battle Wakeboarding competition in Montgomery, AL, Saturday, August 6, 2016. This event will run in conjunction with the City of Montgomery’s “Second Saturday” Riverfront event in downtown Montgomery sponsored by Stivers Ford and PNC Bank. Don’t miss it when the top wake skaters and wakeboarders battle it out on the Montgomery Riverfront!

THE TIGE MYWAKE GLOBAL CHALLENGE: THE ONLY ONLINE WAKE CONTEST BACK IN 2016

The Tige MyWake Global Challenge presented by Rockstar Energy Drink is back for another year and ready to showcase today’s greatest riders through the only online wake video contest. With 8 categories from grom to pro, single tricks to killer lines, all you have to do is jump in your boat, show the world what you got, submit your video, and share! Tige Boats and this year’s sponsors are handing over $100,000 in cash and prizes to Professional and Amateur winners.

Starting June 1st, riders will be able to upload as many videos as they want; all that counts is your latest upload. The World Wakeboard Association is the official judging panel of the contest. MyWake takes the hassle out of competition by allowing you to ride in a major wake contest right on your own lake- no travel costs or entry fees required. Just ride and record. Then, submit the footage that best represents you.

The Exposure Round is back again in 2016. This gives all riders the opportunity to increase their technical score by sharing their video throughout their social media networks. The more shares you receive the greater, potential score you could earn. The Exposure Round begins the day after the Submission Round and continues for the three days that follow.

Corpus Christi Challenge 2011 Presented by Texas Ski Ranch

On April 7-10 Texas Ski Ranch will be hosting the Chorpus Christi Challenge as part of the Texas International Boat Show. This unique wakeboard event will showcase four of the top wakeboarders in the world as they compete for the title at the third annual event. Unlike most events TSR hosts, the Corpus Christi Pro will not be pulled by a MasterCraft X-Star or a Rixen Cable system. Because the event is held in the Corpus Christi Marina we will be using Sea Doo watercraft to pull the wakeboarders over ramps made specifically for this event. The setting proved to be challenging but also very rewarding due to the close proximity to the crowd that can line up on all sides of the course.

In the previous two events Tom Fooshee and Gabe Lucas finished first and second respectively. This year TSR will add a little twist to the event that will showcase just four riders broken into two teams. Cable Riders vs. Boat Riders behind a PWC. While all four of these riders kill it behind all pulling devices, we will pit Tom Fooshee and Cody Johnson vs. Gabe Lucas and Joey Bradley. By leveling the playing field, we are expecting a really fun event that pits these good friends against each other. The 2011 event will be sanctioned by the World Wakeboard Association (WWA)

The Texas International Boat Show, presented by American Bank, will take place from April 7^th-10th, 2011, at the Corpus Christi Downtown Marina. Buyers and sellers from across Texas, the USA and Mexico, plus exhibitors from around the world, will come together to create a unique marketplace offering a relaxed and leisurely environment in which to meet during this four-day event. Hundreds of boats, from 10’ to 100’, will be on display, both in the water and on-shore, many ready to demo! Add to this live music from The Bahamas, fun fashion shows and entertainment for the whole family, and you have an unforgettable experience for both buyers and sellers enjoying four days of fun in the sun.
