<p><strong>WACO,TX (August 8, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;– Just when you think the progression is at its all-time high, the riders continue to go full throttle at the 2020 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology. Building off the energy from the last few days, the cable started spinning early as BSR Cable Park delivered near perfect conditions and temperatures.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Riders advanced through to the Features Only semifinal rounds of action after several heated LCQ rounds to kick off day four at BSR Cable Park. The Kids Features Only semifinals had the crowd going wild with Hudson Lambert taking the top spot in heat one going huge off the kicker for a final score of 100.00. Additional riders advancing on to the Kids Features Only final included Zach Montez from heat two, Cameron Flinkingshelt from heat three, and Aiden Stelzel from heat four. Hudson Haynie went on to claim a spot in the Groms Features Only final with a standout semifinal performance displaying clean lines on the rails for a final score of 96.00 in heat one. In semifinal heat two Evan Cole also threw down one of his best performances scoring 95.00 and advancing on to the finals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Closing out the day with more unstoppable performances, Gavin Stuckey put in some work in the Pro Men Features Only semifinal heat one claiming the top spot in almost every category for a score of 98.00 to take the heat win. Trent Stuckey smashed the kickers and rails, placing him in first in semifinal heat two with 95.00.&nbsp;&nbsp;Excelling on all the rails in heat three, Conrad McIntosh cleaned up with a final score of 95.00. Heat four saw reigning Wake Park National Champion Guenther Oka own the top spot with a well-executed performance including a T/S B/S 9 off the kicker to score 96.00.</p>

<p><strong>WACO,TX (August 7, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;– The riders turned it up another level for day three of the 2020 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology. As crowds filled the shoreline for another action-packed day the Features Only qualifying rounds saw a technical display of skill in a fight to make it through to the semifinals. The afternoon saw Pro Traditional LCQ and semifinal rounds paired with a few amateur Traditional final rounds to cap off another epic day at BSR Cable Park.</p>



<p>Amateur Features Only qualifying rounds kicked things off with a total of four competitors going on to the semifinal rounds of action from the Open Men, Masters, and Veterans Features Only divisions. Coby Armer threw down a standout performance locking in his first place finish in the Open Men Feature Only heat one with a final score of 100.00. The Jr. Pro Men Features Only division witnessed a tight race with Barrett Swope clinching the top spot going technical on all the rails for a 98.00 score heading into Saturday’s semifinals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Pro Women kicked things up a notch displaying epic performances in the Features Only qualifying round with 3 riders advancing on to the semifinal rounds. Twelve riders from the Pro Men Features Only division will also advance to their respective semifinals after heated qualifying rounds. Guy Firer punched his ticket to Saturday’s semis throwing down and claiming the top spot in each category for a total score of 100.00. The Pro riders continued to rev up the crowd at BSR Cable Park as the Traditional semifinals took to the cable for a last shot to grab a seat in the finals for the Pro Wakeskate, Jr. Pro Men, and Pro Wakeboard Traditional riders. With a season of total progression under his belt Jr. Pro Men rider Barrett Swope came out firing, displaying clean lines and boosting off all the kickers for a heating winning score of 100.00.</p>



<p>Several National titles were earned in the late afternoon include Preston Persichetti taking the win in the Beginner Wakeboard division showing great composition throughout his entire run earning his final score of 99.00. The Novice Wakeboard final saw more standup runs with Isaic Claudio becoming the division’s 2020 National Champion throwing down a T/S 360 off the kicker for a 99.00 point score. Alexander Hebra took the win nailing his flats tricks for a 94.00 point score in the Intermediate Wakeboard division. Sam Lacerte took the Advanced Wakeboard title by throwing a melan B/S 540 off the kicker to score 93.00.&nbsp;</p>

With the anticipation of individual National titles as well as team titles on the line, the level of riding was kicked into full throttle with riders displaying endless progression and solid hits on every feature at BSR Cable Park.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Traditional semifinal rounds kicked off an epic day on the cable with four riders in each division moving on to Friday’s finals amongst the Amateur Wakeskate, Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Wakeboard divisions. A standout performance of the morning came out of the Intermediate division with Hudson Lambert claiming the top spot in each category for a heat winning score of 100.00. Heating things up for the day Advanced semifinal rounds took to the water with four riders moving on to the final rounds. Sam Lacerte took the win in heat one of the semifinal round annihilating all of the features for a final score of 100.00.&nbsp;</p>



<p>All eyes were on the water as the Pro Traditional riders gave the crowd something to cheer about with six riders making it straight through to Friday’s semifinals. Brett Powell took the win in qualifying heat one scoring 100.00 and rounding out the top score of the day for that division, followed by Park Swope taking heat two with a score of 93.00. After watching some of their wake heroes throw down, the Kids Features Only division was an all-time battle to the finish line with the top rider of each heat earning their spots in Saturday’s semifinals. The momentum from the day continued on in the Open Women Features Only division with the top two riders from each heat moving on to the semifinals. Taking the top spots in their heats and moving on to the semifinals were Riley Payne, Lisa Derue and Mattie Armer.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>WACO,TX (August 5, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;– The 2020 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology arrived to BSR Cable Park in Waco, TX to celebrate another season of accomplishments on the National Points Chase. Bringing back the LCQ rounds for 2020 created a fun and exciting atmosphere of new motivation on the starting dock as competitors kicked things off in the amateur divisions.&nbsp;&nbsp;Wake parks from across the nation were represented throughout the weekend with riders competing for both individual National titles and team overall Points Chase titles.</p>



<p>Five divisions of Traditional Cable disciplines kicked off this thrilling weekend of competition with teams from across the nation filling in the shoreline of BSR to cheer on their home team riders. The Amateur Wakeskate qualifiers kicked off the day with 6 riders moving on to Thursday’s semifinal rounds. Kaiden Powell took the win in heat one of the qualifying rounds with an incredible run taking the top spot in each category for a final score of 100.00 to start off the competition joined by Kyle Haenisch taking the top spot in heat two. Arriving to BSR with a mission to win, Gabe Briggs took the top spot in heat one of the Novice qualifying rounds with a score of 96.00 sticking a clean hit off the kicker moving on to the semis alongside six other Novice riders who made it through today.</p>

<p>The Intermediate Wakeboard division advanced a total of six riders from the qualifying and LCQ rounds with Alexander Hebra ensuring he’d be punching his ticket to the semifinals with an incredible performance in the LCQ. Gavin Doody threw down with his own classic style taking the win with a score of 98.00. Closing out the day with several inspiring performances, the Advanced division advanced a total of six riders to the semifinals with Chris Sweda coming out on top earlier in the day putting down clean lines for his heat win and a score of 94.00.</p>

<p><strong>WACO, TX (September 2, 2019)</strong>– The 2019 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by Rockstar Energy celebrated the 10th anniversary of the National Points Chase and continued the WWA’s <g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="13" data-gr-id="13">30</g><sup><g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="13" data-gr-id="13">th&nbsp;</g></sup><g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="13" data-gr-id="13">anniversary</g> celebration at the watersports mecca of BSR Cable Park this weekend. Riders and teams came in from all over the U.S., bringing the best wake park showdown to Texas as riders clinched their spots in the WWA Wake Park World Championships this October.&nbsp;<br><br>The Kids Features division kicked off the final day with the top four riders in each heat making it through to the final round of action. Taking the win in the final later in the afternoon was Hayden Chambless (HYD) who went super technical on the transfer box and threw a switch H/S F/S 900 for his winning score of 97.90. Aidan Stelzel (TSR) came up in second throwing a clean H/S B/S 720 scoring 86.20 points, just ahead of Hayden Carnes (OWC) who showed total composition the entire heat to earn 78.80.&nbsp;<br><br>The Jr. Pro Traditional division displayed premier athletic ability with Trent Stuckey (OWC) taking the win with a 313 in the flats and a huge T/S B/S 900 off the kicker for a final score of 84.00. Fynn Bullock-Womble (SHARK) executed super techy rail hits for his <g class="gr_ gr_11 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="11" data-gr-id="11">second place</g> finish with a score of 79.00, ahead of Liam Brearley (RYWP) in third with 76.50.</p>

<p>Daniel Grant took the Pro Wakeskate title with solid rail hits and an impressive B/S bigger spin officially completing the win for a perfect score of 100.00. Sam Langley took second with a 90.00 followed by Dan Milstein in third scoring 80.00.&nbsp;<br><br>Three-time WWA Wake Park World Series champion, Guenther Oka (USA) put down an all-time performance with a <g class="gr_ gr_16 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="16" data-gr-id="16">nosegrab</g> Pete 540 and a tail grab front to blind off the flats scoring 86.50 taking the Pro <g class="gr_ gr_17 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="17" data-gr-id="17">Mens</g> Traditional top spot. Daniel Grant had another solid run to score 67.50 <g class="gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar multiReplace" id="15" data-gr-id="15">rounding</g> out the podium in third with a clean <g class="gr_ gr_20 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling" id="20" data-gr-id="20">melan</g> roll to blind out in the flats.&nbsp;<br><br>In the Open Women Features final, Mattie Armer (TERM) excelled on all the rails going on to throw a T/S 540 to take the National title with 100.00 points. Lisa DeRue (STWP) took second scoring 87.90, followed by Riley Payne (TERM) in <g class="gr_ gr_14 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="14" data-gr-id="14">third</g> round out the podium with 80.30.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Open Men Features final saw Bobby Trammell (SHARK) own the top spot with a well-executed performance including a T/S B/S 720 to score 92.10. Johnathon Wilkes (TERM) smashed the kickers and rails, placing him in second with 88.70, followed by Drew Glickman (TROPHY) in third with a score of 81.40.</p>



<p>The Jr. Pros put up a good fight in the late afternoon in the intense battle for the National title. Adding yet another National title to his belt this summer, this time in wake park, Fynn Bullock-Womble (SHARK) came away with the National title throwing stylish rail hits on the rail-2-rail along with a dropping a T/S B/S 900 for 98.40 points. Brett Powell (SHARK) got technical on the StepUp rail to earn the <g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="13" data-gr-id="13">second place</g> spot with 89.80, followed by Garrett Coleman (OWC) who took third with a 79.30.&nbsp;<br><br>The crowds at BSR witnessed a top of the line round of wake park competition during the Pro Women’s Features final. Taking the 2019 National title, Courtney Angus (TERM) couldn’t be stopped with a massive B/S 540 and a super technical transfer on the transfer box to seal the deal with a winning score of 95.00. Michela Phillips took second with a <g class="gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="15" data-gr-id="15">melan</g> T/S B/S 360 to score 88.90 ahead of Kaitlyn Adams (ACTION) in third with a score of 84.30.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>The Pro Men’s Features final proved that the guys have been on fire this season, showcasing their insane level of riding throughout the entire round with Guenther Oka sending it for the winning score of 96.60. Oka properly locked-in on a <g class="gr_ gr_17 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling" id="17" data-gr-id="17">technical</g> transfer and grabbed 900s off both kickers for the winning score. Joe Battleday scored 87.20 in second bringing a style of his own with one of the most technical hits on the StepUp rail seen all day landing him just ahead of Riley Dillon (RYWP) in third with a final score of 80.10.</p>

<p>“To come out and sweep both the Traditional and Features divisions is something I’ve done at Worlds the past few years but had yet to do at Nationals up until now. The fact that this is my fourth year coming to Nationals as Pro and being able to take home both wins today is totally unreal and so satisfying,” commented Pro Men’s rider Guenther Oka. “One of my favorite parts about Nationals is coming out here and seeing all the new faces and up and coming amateurs. I know I can speak for all the guys out here on this but being in rounds with all the young kids makes us super nervous because they are hot on our tails all the time. Taking the win today is that much better and I’m just super stoked right now!’<br><br>The Terminus Wake Park team won the 2019 Points Chase title in the Features Only division with 2295 cumulative team points ahead of Hydrous Wake Park in second with 1990 points and Orlando Watersports Complex in third with 1825 points. Over on the Traditional team points side, the Orlando Watersports Complex team took first place with 2455 points. <p><strong>WACO, TX (August 30, 2019)</strong>– The <g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="13" data-gr-id="13">near perfect</g> conditions and crowds lining the shoreline made BSR Cable Park the place to be for day two of the 2019 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by Rockstar Energy. With the anticipation of individual National titles as well as team titles on the line, the riders turned it up a level displaying everything they’ve been working on all summer.<br><br>The ladies kicked off the Open Women Features Only quarterfinal rounds with epic conditions, taking the top two riders from each heat to the semifinals. Advancing to the semifinals were Katie Callahan (HYD), Lisa DeRue (STWP), Mattie Armer (TERM), Payton Gibney (OWC), Rivers Hedrick (TERM), Tracy Land (NLR), Hailey Flinkingshelt (SHARK), and Riley Payne (TERM).<br><br>The Junior Features division brought the heat with Connor Wooten (TERM) winning quarterfinal heat one scoring 95.70 ahead of Bryce Thompson (HYD) with 85.60 points in second. Heat two went to Sebastian Moran (HYD) scoring 100.00 points just ahead of Ashton Smallwood (TERM) with an 86.20. Coby Armer (TERM) won heat three with a 95.70 point score followed by Brayden George (HYD) in second with 94.30. Heat four was owned by Sam Lacerte (HYD) in first with a solid 97.50 point score, followed closely by Jimmy Schmidt (QUARRY) with a 92.50 in second. The Junior Features semifinals will hit the water on Sunday.</p>

<p>The crowds were going crazy in the Open Men Features Only quarterfinals, with the top two riders from each heat earning their spots in Sunday’s semifinals. Taking the top spots in their heats and moving on to the semifinals, heat winners were Bobby Trammell (SHARK), Noah Isley (TERM), Drew Glickman (TROPHY), Kellan Rudnicki (OWC), Shawn Rysak (OWC), and Johnathon Wilkes (TERM).  <br><br>The Jr. Pro Features semifinal round saw Fynn Bullock-Womble take the top spot throwing a T/S B/S 900 off the kicker followed by super technical rail hits off the CnB rail for a perfect score of 100.00 sending him on to the final <g class="gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del gr-progress" id="9" data-gr-id="9">round</g> of action. Tyler Toberman (Shark) kept the pace going in the heat throwing a switch mute mobe for a final score of 81.10, just ahead of Garrett Coleman (OWC) in third with 80.50 points. The third Shark Wake Park representative headed into the Jr. Pro Features final round included Brett Powell (SHARK) in fourth with 75.90 points.</p>

<p>The top two riders from the heats in round one cleaned house and went on to the quarterfinal rounds. In the Grom’s division quarterfinal round the battle was on in heat one with Evan Cole (OWC) coming away with the top spot for 97.90 points, followed by Ike Phillips (TERM) in second with 92.10 points. The heat two <g class="gr_ gr_10 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar multiReplace" id="10" data-gr-id="10">win</g> went to Kyle Bendele (NLR) with a final score of 96.10, ahead of Brady Landon (H9) in second place with 93.90. <br><br>The Kids Features Only showed us just how quickly the sport is progressing with the top two riders from each heat earning their spots in Sunday’s semifinals. Taking the top spots in their heats and moving on to the semifinals, heat winners included Kaiden Powell (SHARK), Mati Kornfeld (MWC), Wake Purdy (ACTION), Barrett Swope (NLR), Hayden Chambless (HYD), and Grant Adams (TERM). </p>



<p>The Pro Traditional division kept the pace of the day with Traditional Wake Park quarterfinal rounds seeing the top four riders in each division advance through to the semifinals. In heat one of the quarterfinals, Jake Pelot (OWC) landed in the top spot with a 79.50 throwing a blind judge in the flats, followed by Daniel Grant in second with a 78.50. Heat two winner Guenther Oka scored 90.00 points throwing down a <g class="gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="6" data-gr-id="6">melan</g> Pete Rose, ahead of with Brett Powell (SHARK) hot on his heels scoring 77.00. Tom Fooshee (TSR) crushed it in heat three taking the win with 86.50 points and throwing an S-mobe in the flats ahead of Joe Battleday taking second with 84.50.</p>



<p>In the Jr. Pro Traditional semifinal, heat one winner Trent Stuckey (OWC) will head to the final round scoring 82.50 points along with Liam Brearley (RYWP) placing second with 76.50 points. Parker Swope (NLR) took the win in heat two with a score of 86.50 and Fynn Bullock-Womble (SHARK) scored 82.00 in second.</p>
