<p><strong>PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (August 30, 2020)&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;– The spectators at Callaway Gardens witnessed some of wake’s greatest rise to victory on the final day of the 2020 Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar. Pulled by the award-winning G23 Paragon, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships has become one of the most esteemed stops on the Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong with the weekend’s pristine levels of athletic ability ensuring that reputation lives on. The weekend displayed the family-friendly atmosphere Nautique events are known for showcasing the opportunity for riders and fans alike to check out the Billabong wrapped Nautique G23 equipped with Yanmar’s diesel engine. Yanmar’s proven diesel power is now available exclusively in specific Nautique G-Series models providing a more fuel-efficient option for those looking to keep their RPM’s low when fully loaded.</p>



<p>Making sure their power was known this weekend, the Open Women’s division put up a fiery final round with Jordan Taylor coming out on top throwing a 360 and indy F/S air for a final score of 75.00. Following up in second Bailey Dunn threw a shuv it to score 67.67, just ahead of Miram Hafez in third rounding out the podium with 50.00 points.&nbsp;The Open Men’s division kept the competition going with Samuel Goncalves taking the win completing a textbook F/S big spin to earn himself a 85.00, just ahead of Tommy Coleman in second with 73.33 and Danny Thollander in third with 64.00. Jr. Women’s rider Ava Stewart put down an impressive run behind the Nautique G23 Paragon for 78.33 points, ahead of Lindsay Hovsepian in second with 72.67 and Hadley Lewis in third with 67.67. In the Jr. Men’s final round, Coleman Vaughan took the win with a huge air for a score of 76.67, followed by Reid Cato with a score of 66.67 and Harrison Theilen rounding out the podium in third with 51.67.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Coming out on top in final round of competition, Cassidy Gale put together an unstoppable performance in Pro Women’s final taking the win with a score of 92.33.&nbsp;Her first pass consisted of an Alley Oop and a F/S big spin before coming back on pass two with a clean air reverse leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind that she had just cleaned up with first place finish today. In second Ashley Inloes scored 88.00 with a stylish shuv to backside 180, followed by Nautique athlete Jodi Grassman rounding out the podium in third with 84.33 points.</p>



<p>Utilizing the entire wave of the Nautique G23 Paragon, Sean Silveira put it all together clinching the greatest victory of the year and a final score of 93.33 in the Pro Men’s final. Sean’s winning run consisted of multiple big spins, an air three and a huge ollie north Alley Oop. Coming up in second, Beaux Wildman landed a solid 540 shuv and backside bigger spin to score 89.00, ahead of Keenan Flegel in third throwing a clean Madonna air for a score of 85.00.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (August 29, 2020)&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;– The award-winning Nautique G23 Paragon pulled several of the sport’s greatest to victory on the legendary waters of Robin Lake for day two of the 2020 Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by YANMAR. The intensity was at an all-time high with the esteemed Nautique Masters Wakesurf titles on the line paired with a final chance to throw points on the leaderboard of the Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Callaway Gardens was filled with memorable moments all day long as the Nautique G23 Paragon displayed waves of perfection to lead amateurs to victory in eleven divisions. The Men’s Beginner revved things up in a heated final with Francisco Cabezas coming out on top with his unique style and big turns to take the win with a score of 78.33. The Women’s Beginner final saw Kelly Albin take the win with multiple 180s for winning score of 86.67. Wrapping up a season to remember on the Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong, Lee Hite came away with the win in the Boys division and a final score of 83.33, just head of Whit Shropshire in second with 77.33 points and Tyler Lavoise in third with a score of 71.67.</p>

<p>Always a crowd favorite, the Adaptive finalists showed up Saturday afternoon ready to put on a show behind the Nautique G23 Paragon. Carter Hess brought home a huge score of 90.00 throwing a lip slide and soul carves for the win in the Adaptive Standing division, followed by Mike Nelson in second with a score of 80.00. Stefan Leroy earned his final win for the season in the Adaptive Sitboarding division with a final score of 88.33.</p>

The Veteran’s division closed out the day with more epic riding and David Williams scoring an 85.00 to take the win with a frontside shove on his longboard and a clean 360. Scott Bouchard came in second with a score of 81.33, followed by Mark Walser in third with 77.67 points to round out the podium.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (August 28, 2020) –&nbsp;</strong>A field of wakesurfing’s top athletes arrived at Callaway Gardens to officially kick off the 2020 Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by YANMAR. Pulled by the award-winning Nautique G23 Paragon, this highly anticipated stop to the Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong witnessed amateur athletes debut flawless runs securing their spots into Saturday’s final rounds.</p>



<p>“It was an incredible first day for the G23 Paragon here at the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “I’ve really enjoyed watching all of the competitors get behind our award-winning model and utilize the best wave in the industry to show us their skills. Nothing beats the conditions that Robin Lake provide, and I’m looking forward to a great weekend!”</p>

<p>&nbsp;The Girls division got things going bright and early with Stella Tracy coming away with the win landing a switch body varial for a final score of 87.33. Evie Shropshire followed up in second with 75.00, followed by Kitt Smith in third with 65.00. The Boys division saw the young ripper, Whit Shropshire throw a super stylish 3 shuv for a semifinal heat winning score of 79.00 sending him into Saturday’s final round just ahead of Lee Hite in second with 72.67 points.&nbsp;</p>



<p>In the Women’s Beginner division Kelly Albin showed off her signature style with a nice hack scoring 83.33 to take the heat win. <p><strong><u>COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES &#8211; MUST READ</u></strong>The WWA is implementing social distancing guidelines effective immediately at all WWA sanctioned events in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. &nbsp;Events are only possible if we all maintain the federal, CDC, state and local guidelines. We appreciate everyone doing their part so events are able to operate and do not get shut down.</p>



<p><strong>Attention:</strong> In accordance with the guidelines set forth, we will be taking temperatures for all event participants upon arrival before a rider is able to check-in each day. If anyone has a temperature reading greater than <strong>100.4* F</strong> they will not be able to remain on the event site. We encourage all participants to take their temperature before arriving at the event.</p>

<p>Overview</p>



<p>The WWA will adhere to and operate in compliance with all public health authorities and local and state government guidelines regarding social distancing pertinent to the location of the event being held. In adhering to compliant efforts onsite, event crowd numbers will not exceed the guidelines currently set forth. The WWA will provide masks to all event participants and advise that any event bystanders are wearing masks when electing to be in the vicinity of the event grounds and will be strictly advised to not congregate in large groups.</p>



<p>High risk individuals, including older adults and people with pre-existing medical conditions that appear to be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill with the virus are recommended to avoid&nbsp;events involving groups at this time and/or to take all recommended precautions to protect themselves.</p>



<p>Event Procedures</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>All WWA event staff will be required wear face masks throughout the duration of the event.</li><li>All participants will have their temperature taken at rider check-in each day that they ride.&nbsp;</li><li>The starting dock will be limited to ONE participant and the dock starter in order to avoid unnecessary congregations of people. There will also be ‘staging’ areas outside of the dock that only a limited number of riders will be allowed in. Riders 9 &amp; under may have one parent with a face covering accompany them on a dock.&nbsp;Participants should be aware of signage stating the number of individuals allowed in areas.</li><li>The WWA Pavilion on site will be limited to Athletes only. Credentials will be required to enter and masks will be required at all times while on the pavilion. Masks must be worn properly covering the entire nose and mouth.</li><li>Participants will not be able to store their equipment in the start dock area and are advised to keep equipement with them or in their locked vehicle&nbsp;at all times.</li><li>Only event staff will be allowed in the event boats.</li><li>All WWA staff and event security will monitor and enforce social distancing policies throughout the duration of the event.</li><li>All event surfaces and high-touch areas will be wiped down and disinfected approximately every thirty minutes as recommended by CDC guidelines.</li><li>Line distancing will be implemented in the registration and information area of the event in order to prevent grouping of participants.</li><li>In order to avoid extended face-to-face interaction between event participants and staff, participants must&nbsp;complete all necessary event and registration paperwork prior to arriving to the event site and attempting to check-in at the registration area.&nbsp;</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>All event participants are&nbsp;advised to avoid person-to-person contact such as shaking hands.&nbsp;</li><li>All event participants will be advised to not congregate in large groups of people to socialize while at the event site.&nbsp;</li><li>All event related banquets will not be held in order to reduce gathering.&nbsp;</li></ul>



<p>Event Site</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>The event site layout will be planned out and constructed with social distancing standards in place.</li><li>Proper cleaning supplies will be available to all event participants, staff, and officials. Cleaning supplies are not limited to and may include hand-washing stations, hand sanitizer, tissues, and cleaning wipes.&nbsp;</li><li>Event whip flags and additional competition markers will be spaced out every twelve feet to provide visual distance cues for event participants.</li><li>All staff tents will have clear walls and barriers in order to prevent unnecessary contact.</li><li>Spectators and participants will not be allowed to congregate under WWA tents. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tents or umbrellas for shade.&nbsp;</li><li>There will be limited options for food and beverage available on site. Participants may bring coolers but there will be no alcoholic beverages allowed on site.</li></ul>

<p><strong>WACO, TX (August 9, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;&#8211; The 2020 Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology showcased an action-packed weekend behind the G23 Paragon with several athletes&nbsp;showcasing versatility combining both skim and surf style boards in their runs. Connor Burns and Ashley Kidd both locked up their 2020 National titles securing some additional points on the rankings list of the 2020 Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong before heading into the culminating event of the series the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships later this month.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The Pro Women threw down some fierce runs in the final round with reigning champion Ashley Kidd coming out on top with an epic performance behind the Nautique G23 Paragon earning her National title and heat winning score of 90.67. Kidd laid down an Alley Oop 360 straight into a 720 and several big spins in her second pass leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind that she had just won the 2020 title. Nautique athlete Jodi Grassman joined the podium in second place, throwing a switch F/S big spin for a score of 86.33, followed by Camille Goodwin in third with a final score of 79.00.</p>

<p>Connor Burns put on quite the show rising to the top of the Pro Men’s division taking the National title with a 540 big spin and a solid switch F/S big spin for a winning score of 91.33. In second, Keenan Flegel had&nbsp;a great run which included a switch 3 shuv and boosty Madonna air scoring 88.33, just ahead of Nautique athlete John Akerman in third with a final score of 86.00.</p>

<p><strong>WACO, TX (August 8, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;–&nbsp;Competitors hit the water on day two of the 2020 Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology looking to lay down a season’s worth of progression in the final rounds. The award-winning G23 Paragon powered by GM’s world-class powertrains pulled the stars of tomorrow to victory with National titles awarded in sixteen amateur divisions.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>The young shredder Stella Tracy (OK) locked in her first National title in the Girls final with both stylish and technical tricks linked together for a final score of 87.67. A high-energy Boys final saw Whit Shropshire (GA) charging the beautiful wave behind the Nautique G23 Paragon throwing boosty airs for a final score of 90.00. The Adaptive Standing final round kept the momentum going with Carter Hess (FL) shredding his way to his second National title with 85.67 points, just ahead of Mike Nelson (FL) in second with a score of 82.67. The day closed out with a fiery final round in the Men’s division as Brandon Pemberton (TX) ripped his way to the top with a run full of tech tricks for a winning score of 82.67.&nbsp;</p>

Williams not only brought home the National title this weekend but also scored the PCM Best Amateur Trick Award winning a $1,000 for his shuv on his longboard.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>WACO, TX (August 7, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;– The 2020 Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology greeted the nation’s top amateurs with perfect waves behind the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon for day one of competition. Serving as the first U.S. stop to the Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong for this year, competitors took to the shoreline of BSR eager for the opportunity to claim their spot in the final rounds of competition.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The G23 Paragon has taken wakesurfing to new levels, and I was thrilled to see it perform on the National stage today,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “This boat was developed to deliver an amazing wave that is unmatched in wakesurfing and today the top wakesurfers from around the country were able to perform at their best. The stage is set for a fun week of surfing behind the award-winning G23 Paragon!”</p>

<p>All eyes were on the water as the Pro divisions kicked off the day with Roswell rider Ashley Kidd (USA) locking up her spot in the heat with a winning score of 82.33, followed by Ashley Inloes (USA) linking together technical tricks to finish second in the heat. Standouts in the Pro Men’s quarterfinal rounds included Parker Payne (USA) coming away with the win in heat one with multiple hammers for a score of 84.00. Winning heat two and advancing into the final rounds Keenan Flegel (USA) put down a diverse and technical run with a score of 90.00</p>



<p>Keeping the competition fierce, Whit Shropshire (GA) put on a show with a variety of technical moves behind the Nautique G23 Paragon taking the top spot in the Boys semifinal round with a score of 83.00. Jordyn Knecht (KS) put down an amazing opening shred in the Jr. Women semifinal with a winning score of 77.67. Closing out the day with an all-time performance Shane Blanton (WI) earned his spot in the Open Men’s final round throwing multiple shuvs for a final score of 76.67.</p>

<table class="wp-block-table"><tbody><tr><td><strong>ORLANDO, FL (March 12, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;– In an effort to allow more riders the opportunity to compete in multiple stops on the 2020 Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong, new dates have been announced for the newest stop of the series, the Japan Wakesurf Open presented by Yanmar. This event was previously announced to be the fifth stop of the series, falling over the same weekend as the sixth stop, the Nautique Canadian Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar. Together Nautique, Yanmar, and The WWA made the decision to move the event up to the second stop of series falling over&nbsp;August 1st&nbsp;– 2nd&nbsp;providing riders the ability to compete at both the Asian and North American stops.&nbsp;<br><br>This global wakesurf series is comprised of seven prestigious wakesurf events spanning across three continents and providing innovative formats for competition in fun-filled, family-friendly environments. Surfers from every part of the world are encouraged to compete for points on the Nautique Wakesurf Series Rankings presented by Billabong, and a spot in the culminating event of the series, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar. Riders will earn points based on their placement within their division at each event they attend for the 2020 season.&nbsp;&nbsp;The winners at each stop of the series will automatically secure their invite to the premier event of the season, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships&nbsp;presented by Yanmar.</td></tr></tbody></table>

<p><strong>ORLANDO, FL (February 10, 2020)</strong>&nbsp;–&nbsp;Nautique Boats and The World Wake Association (The WWA) are excited to announce the dates and locations for the&nbsp;2020 Nautique Wakesurf Series presented by Billabong and pulled exclusively by Nautique’s industry-leading line of boats. The Wakesurf Series will be comprised of seven prestigious wakesurf events spanning across three continents and providing innovative formats for competition in fun-filled, family-friendly environments. New for this year, the series will play host to the most diverse field of competitors in wakesurfing, with surfers from every part of the world competing for points on the Nautique Wakesurf Series Rankings presented by Billabong, and a spot in the culminating event of the series, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The 2019 Nautique Wakesurf Series definitely&nbsp;held true to the definition of ‘the pinnacle of competitive wakesurfing.’ I love how this series brings everyone together for such a fun and memorable time on the water! <p>Inspiring progression for years to come, the world’s top amateur and professional athletes will come together across seven global stops for a chance to define themselves as the sport’s elite. The series will kick off in London, England for the&nbsp;<strong>Nautique European Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar</strong>. Stop two will bring riders to BSR in Waco, Texas the for the&nbsp;<strong>Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology</strong>. The third stop of the series will bring riders to the Han River in Seoul, South Korea for the&nbsp;<strong>Nautique Asian Wakesurf Championships</strong>.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The impressive 2020 line-up will continue with stop four once again taking place at the Konakovo River Club in Moscow, Russia for the<strong>&nbsp;Nautique European&nbsp;Wakesurf&nbsp;Championships&nbsp;presented by&nbsp;Yanmar</strong>. Continuing their trek across the globe to capture the overall Nautique Wakesurf Series title, riders will head to Lake Biwa for the&nbsp;<strong>Japan Wakesurf Open presented by Yanmar</strong>. Riders will have the opportunity to head up to the beautiful British Columbia for the sixth stop, the&nbsp;<strong>Nautique Canadian Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar</strong>. The seventh and final stop will take us to the world’s most sought after watersports destination that is Callaway Gardens for the&nbsp;<strong>Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>The Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships</strong>&nbsp;will be a premier invitational event, serving as the concluding event of the Nautique Wakesurf Series. Winners at each stop of the series will automatically secure their invite to the crowning jewel event of the season, the Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships&nbsp;presented by&nbsp;Yanmar. Additional riders will have the opportunity to earn an invite through the Nautique Wakesurf Series Rankings. Riders will earn points based on their placement within their division at each event they attend for the 2020 season. <p><strong>&nbsp;PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (September 30, 2019)&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;– Wakesurf athletes from over nine different countries around the world came together for the culminating event of the 2019 Nautique Wakesurf Series, the inaugural Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by GM Marine Engine Technology. The 7X Wakeboard and 5x Wakesurf Boat of the Year, the Super Air Nautique G23 pulled wake’s greatest to victory in the final day of competition at what has become the most prestigious event of all-time. With the esteemed Nautique Masters titles on the line, Robin Lake was filled with some of the most memorable moments in a family-friendly atmosphere that was enjoyed by all.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The inaugural Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships exceeded all expectations,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “As the final stop of the Nautique Wakesurf Series, the best wakesurfers came from across the globe to surf behind the G23 here at Callaway Gardens. Congratulations those that earned the first-ever Masters Wakesurf titles!”</p>



<p>A crowd favorite, the Adaptive finalists showed up on Sunday ready to put on a show behind the legendary Super Air Nautique G23. Carter Hess (USA) brought home a huge score of 84.00 throwing strong snaps and a lip slide for the win in the Adaptive Standing division, followed by Fabio Secci (ITA) in second with a score of 80,00, just ahead of Mike Nelson (USA) in third with 76.67. Utilizing the entire face of the wave of the Super Air Nautique G23, Marta Wright (POL) earned her final win for the season in the Adaptive Sitboarding division with a final score of 90.67, ahead of Ryan Major (USA) in second with 83.33.</p>



<p>The Master’s Women division kept the competition going with Keiko Inoki (JPN) taking the win completing a clean transfer surfing frontside to backside using the Nautique Surf System to earn herself an 83.33 and a piece of the $10,000 amateur travel award incentive. Inoki was followed by Kimberly Chen (TWN) who put down another impressive run behind the legendary Super Air Nautique G23 for 75.00 points, ahead of Vanessa Martinez (USA) in third with 68.67. In the Master’s Men final round, Brad Gearhart (USA) took the win with a nice air for a score of 82.67, followed by Peter Kennedy (USA) with a score of 76.00 and Jeff House (USA) rounding out the podium in third with 74.67.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The Veteran’s division saw some epic riding with Mark Walser (USA) scoring a 90.67 to take the win with a shuv and a 360. David Williams (USA) came in second with a score of 86.33, followed by Jay Baker (USA) in third with 80.00 points to round out the podium.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Men’s final saw more impressive passes with Tyler Kramer (USA) claiming his prestigious title throwing down an impressive truck driver air and a 360 for a final 75.67 point score, followed by Brokston Miller (USA) with 70.00 points in second.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nautique athlete Jodi Grassman (USA) put together two stand up passes in the Pro Women’s Final, leaving the crowd cheering and taking the win with a 90.67. Her first pass consisted of a textbook backside big spin and an alley oop before coming back on pass two with a clean mute shuv, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind that her name would go down in history claiming the first-ever win for this event. In second Lily Anderson (CDN) scored 82.33 with a stylish air reverse, followed by Bailey Rush (CDN) rounding out the podium in a very close third with 74.67 points.</p>



<p>“It is totally unbelievable to be here at the first-ever Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships behind the prestigious Nautique G23! Huge shout out to Nautique Boats, The WWA, and all of the other sponsors who we couldn’t do this without! Thank you to everyone who made this an event to remember and I can’t wait to see everyone next season for the 2020 Nautique Wakesurf Series,” said Nautique athlete Jodi Grassman.</p>



<p>Camron Swanson (USA) had a great afternoon, bringing it all together to take the greatest victory of the year at one of wake’s most sought after venues. Utilizing the perfect wave of the Super Air Nautique G23, Swanson started his first pass with a huge alley oop and multiple switch and regular shuvs and went on to lock in his first place finish with a blind gumby shuv in his second pass scoring 97.00. In second, Jacob Caster (USA) pulled out all the stops, landing a solid 540 big spin and a truck driver air to score 90.67. John Akerman (USA) placed third with 87.67 points using his huge amplitude and throwing a clean 3 shuv transfer.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“This was by far my favorite contest of the whole season! It was great to meet a lot of new people and The WWA was on point this weekend by keeping everything organized in a super fun environment. I’m super hyped to win this contest this year and you will definitely see me here next year trying to defend the title,” commented Camron Swanson.</p>
