Exclusively towed behind the 7X Wakeboard Boat of the Year, the Super Air Nautique G23, this series delivers the highest level of wakeboarding competition providing a career-defining platform for athletes to come to showcase progression and define themselves as the sport’s elite. A dedication to rider development and a family-friendly environment has made the Nautique Wake Series home to an international field of athletes competing in all WWA professional and amateur divisions, continuing a tradition that always puts riders first.

“The Nautique Wake Series is the pinnacle of wake events and I personally find the series of events are the only ones I go to where I can count on the conditions being close to perfect. The wake behind the G23 is always the biggest wake in the industry, paired with Nautique’s selection of the best locations brings together the best riding and most entertaining finals,” commented 2019 Nautique Wake Series Overall Champion Cory Teunissen. “A personal favorite for me is the last event of the year, the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships. As an athlete you’ve had a full year of battles and have committed yourself to something that is bigger than you and everything comes to an end at this final stop. It’s super exciting to be a part of and I’m super keen to get in to a route again for 2020. Let’s get it!!”

The 2020 Nautique Wake Series will officially kick off on the largest international stage in watersports with stop one at the Nautique Moomba Masters in Melbourne, Australia. Stop two will bring a prestigious selection of riders the opportunity to compete at the legendary Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA for the 61stNautique Masters Waterski & Wakeboard Tournament, presented by GM Marine Engine Technology. Riders will have the opportunity to earn a Masters invitation at the 3rdannual Nautique Masters Wakeboard LCQ held in the heart of wakeboarding in Orlando, Florida.

The third stop of the Nautique Wake Series lands in Waco, Texas at the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships alongside the Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships and Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championships for the ultimate wake throwdown of the new decade. The fourth and final stop will take us to the tropical paradise of Playa del Carmen, Mexico for the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships. Reeling off the momentum felt in 2019 the WWA Wakeboard World Championships will once again join the Nautique WWA Wake Park World Championships for an epic season finale.

Pro Men, Pro Women and Jr. Pro Men athletes compete throughout the season with over $30,000 (USD) in additional prize money on the line for the overall Nautique Wake Series title. The entire season comes down to the final stop where the WWA World Champions, Nautique Wake Series Overall Champions and WWA Wakeboard World Series Overall Champions are crowned.

“The Nautique Wake Series brings together wakeboarders of all ages and skill levels to battle for titles while combining fun and progressing the sport,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “With an exciting series of events set for the 2020 season, I can’t wait to see what all of the riders have up their sleeves and look forward to seeing them perform their best behind the award-winning G23.”

MONROE, WA (July 24, 2018)– Headed to the Pacific Northwest, this week kicks off one of the most important Wakeboard World Series (WBWS) events […]

MONROE, WA (July 24, 2018)– Headed to the Pacific Northwest, this week kicks off one of the most important Wakeboard World Series (WBWS) events of the season with the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships presented by Rockstar Energy. Pulled by the 5x Wakeboard and 4x Wakesurf boat of the year the Super Air Nautique G23, this event could be a turning point in the WWA Wakeboard World Series rankings. A look on social media proves the progressive movement continues to gain speed post Stop #4 in Knoxville, TN with the top ten riders in both divisions hitting new tricks and not being afraid to show it.

As we sit today, there is a 60-point spread among the top four ranked riders on the Men’s WWA Wakeboard World Series with only one remaining event after the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships, WBWS Stop #5. With the final stop, the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships just over thirty days away, the riders know there is now no place for playing it safe.

A shuffling in the rankings took place in Knoxville, TN, as Tony Iacconi moved up one spot into 4thranked position after his third place podium finish, solidifying 295 points on the WBWS overall rankings. The WBWS 3rdranked rider, Cory Teunissen put on a huge show so far this season putting up some massive double cab rolls, riding on the heels of Nic Rapa in second place.

Nic Rapa came away with his second Factory Pro title gaining valuable ground in the rankings, however, his final score wasn’t quite enough to take thetop spot on the leaderboard. Sitting in the top spot on the WBWS rankings, Harley Clifford remains focused as he heads to the WWA Wakeboard National Championships, an event he has claimed multiple Nationals Titles. Despite his second place finish at the Factory Pro and with Rapa only 20 points behind Clifford on the rankings, the pressure remains to perform to his full potential.

The Women have been absolutely charging it this season and the shuffling of the overall rankings in Knoxville can speak to it. Jamie Lopina torched the fire at the Factory Pro, throwing down the only crowmobe seen in the Women’s final. This performance moved Lopina up two spots on the leaderboard heading to Washington with a solid 5thspot on the WBWS rankings. Dallas Friday, known for her clean tricks and signature style sits 4thon the rankings, just 30 points short of Zahra Kell holding down the 3rdranked spot.

Going into the Factory Pro a few weeks back, Meagan Ethell was a mere 5 points behind Nicola Butler with the two going head to head, proving to the fans that women do in fact run the world. Ethell’s win sent her into 1stplace on the rankings as the reigning WWA Wakeboard National Champion looks toward another National Title this week.

The ranking’s shakeups prove that with two stops to go, the race for the Title is far from over, setting the stage for a showdown at Lake Tye Park at the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships. Stay tuned all week long for updates from the heartbeat of the sport with athletes from around the globe focused on driving progression.

From Lake Alfred, FL

The 2010 WWA Wake Park World Series and the 2010 WWA Wakeboard World Series completed their ten total stops last weekend at Camsur Watersports Complex, Philippines (CWC). Each World Series traveled to four separate countries, then were able to come together for the unique final stop at the CWC Ultimate Wake Championships.

The 2010 WWA Wake Park World Series was set in destinations such as Germany, Netherlands, USA, Turkey, and Philippines. Each country had the fortunate experience to witness the best Wake Park riders in the world, such as Tom Fooshee, Dominik Guehrs, and Lior Sofer, battle it out for the title.

The 2010 Overall Wake Park Champ, Tom Fooshee speaks about the Series, “The 2010 WWA Wake Park World Series was my favorite Wake Park Series yet. It covered a larger span of the globe than any other Wake Park World Series, and we got to ride at the best parks in the World.”

While the 2010 WWA Wakeboard World Series visited Brazil, Canada, Abu Dhabi, USA, and Philippines, the series retained its fair amount of heated point battles as well. CWB teammates, Trevor Hansen and Andrew Adkison, battled all year for their bragging rights.

Hansen’s thoughts on the year: “I am super pumped to end up in second overall for the World Series. There was some awesome riding that went down throughout the different events. Can’t wait for next year!”

From Lake Alfred, FL

Camsur Watersports Complex was proud to host the final stop of the 2010 WWA Wakeboard World Series January 20-23. The exotic five stop series included Brazil, Canada, Abu Dhabi, USA, and Philippines. Each stop combined the top wakeboarders from around the world in their attempt to capture the 2010 WWA Wakeboard World Series Overall Title.

Even-though defending champion Phil Soven of the USA captured his forth Wakeboard World Series Title, everyone had their eyes set on the points race between CWB teammates Trevor Hansen of the USA and Andrew Adkison of the USA. Hansen started the Series off with three finishes ahead of Adkison, but the light shined on Adkison in Canada as Hansen’s lead was narrowed by Adkison’s near podium finish. However, Hansen was quick to retaliate at the 2010 WWA Rockstar Worlds with a 3rd place finish earning a total of 37 more points than Adkison. Both riders had a strong finish at the final stop of the World Series, but in the end it was Hansen that claimed his highest finish in a WWA Wakeboard World Series claiming 2nd place just behind Soven. Austin Hair and Danny Thollander round out the top five.

Hansen’s thoughts on the year: “I am super pumped to end up in second overall for the World Series. There was some awesome riding that went down throughout the different events. Can’t wait for next year!”

Adkison states: “Knowing the level of the International field that competed this year, earning a top 3 overall finish is something I’m very excited about.”

Keep an eye out for next year’s WWA Wakeboard World Series to be released soon. The riders are already gearing up for an exciting 2011 season.
