The 2025 Taipei Wake Open will feature Wakeboard, Wakesurf / Skim, and Ocean Wakesurf divisions. This premier series of events, held in partnership with the World Wakeboard Association (WWA), promises to deliver thrilling performances that fuse skill and style. Athletes and spectators alike can look forward to an unforgettable experience at Asia’s largest annual wake event — proudly hosted for ten consecutive years.

Event Date:

  • 15th October 2025 – 19th October 2025 (15th – 16th Practice Day)
  • Organizer: Chinese Taipei Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation, Department of Sports, Taipei City Government Taipei Wake Association 

Registration Period: Till August 15th, 2025 (late submissions will not be accepted, and registration may end earlier if slots are filled).

Registration Method: Complete the registration and payment through the online registration system. The personal information provided for this event will be used solely for event-related purposes in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The organizers will arrange public liability insurance during the competition.

  1. One project (WAKESURF/WAKESURF SKIM /WAKEBOARD) can only choose one division to register 
  2. Divisions of Competitions – Divisions of competitions are broken down in age brackets. 
  3. Age as of January 1 of the current year will be used to determine age bracket. 
  4. If a division has fewer than 3 participants, competitors may be merged into the next higher-level division.
