Amateur Wakeboard Park (All Ages):
- Kickers: 360 spins MAX. Basic inverts (NO blind or handle pass inverts)
- Air Tricks: Ollie 360 Spins MAX. NO air tricks.
- Rails: NO blind landing transfers/ollies. NO inverted transfers.
Amateur Wakesurf (All Ages):
- Carves, turns, surface tricks such as fire hydrant, sitting duck – No Airs off the wake.
- No more than one 360
Amateur Wakeboard Boat (All Ages):
- Up to 2 Inverts and No Spins over 360
Open Divisions (All Ages):
- No trick limits
The 2025 WWA China Wake Open – Chengdu, China | September 26–28
Auburndale, FL – The WWA China Wake Open is set to hit Chengdu this September, bringing together athletes and fans for three days of world-class wakesports. From Wakeboarding and Wakesurfing to the Wake Park, this multi-discipline event marks a new chapter for the sports in China.
With a $30,000 USD prize purse, prize packs from Kanuk Board Co., and the iconic Nautique G23 pulling every heat, riders can expect epic conditions during this global competition. All events will be held at the picturesque all new WWA China headquarters – The Chengdu Sancha Lake International Water Sports Centre.
For competitors, event organizers are providing free local accommodations and support with visas to make the journey smooth and stress-free. For spectators and travelers, Chengdu offers a unique backdrop with world-class sport on the water paired with legendary food, vibrant nightlife, and cultural experiences you won’t find anywhere else.
