Event Information: Registered Rider Practice Announcement

From Abu Dhabi, UAE (November 16, 2011) – The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) and Al Forsan International Sports Resort would like to announce the official scheduled practice times for the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan. The infrastructure at the Al Forsan wake park includes two full cable systems and a two-tower system; one of the only cable parks in the world to offer both a right-foot-forward (counter-clockwise) and left-foot-forward (clockwise) cables at a single location. The WWA will now confirm that the 2011 Wake Park Worlds competition will take place on the right-foot-forward (counter-clockwise) cable. This six-tower cable will etch the history of the WWA, as the first ever WWA World Series event to be held in the Middle East.

In order to avoid extensive waiting lines on the starting dock, the WWA is offering reserved and closed practice times for pre-paid and pre-registered riders only. Four allocated time slots on the contest cable have been scheduled for pre-paid and pre-registered riders to have the choice of the time slot of when he/she wants to practice. The closed practice passes are included with each rider’s Wake Park Worlds registration fee. Each time slot is limited to a small number of riders to ensure the maximum amount of practice during daylight hours; these slots are three hours each.

If you would like to sign-up for your scheduled practice time, then go to wakeparkworlds.com/registration and register to enter the 2011 WWA Wake Park Worlds hosted by Al Forsan. Your registration confirmation will include instructions of how to get your name on the list.
