2010 Protest Cable Call and 2nd Stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series in the Netherlands!

There  is less than 4 weeks to go before the Protest Cable Call and second stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series in the Netherlands, August 13-15, 2010. The weekend promises some spectacular action at the new Down Under Cableway & Wavesurfer www.downunderrecreatie.nl in Nieuwegein, Holland.

Top riders such as Nick Davies, Tom Fooshee and Lior Sofer  have already confirmed their participation. More big names are expected including a number of Dutch riders such as Maxine Sapulette, Sjors van de Kerkhof and Mike Ketellapper.
This puts the spotlight on the Protest Cable Call! Never before have so many top riders travelled to the Netherlands for a wakeboard event. Dutch crowds should get ready for a wakeboard weekend of exciting tricks, pumping tracks provided by various DJs and an awesome party on Saturday.

Thursday August 12th

The entry fee is €75 and includes dinner on Friday and Saturday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, the event t-shirt, cap and free entry to the party. You only can pay the entry fee onsite at the Protest Cable Call in cash.

Membership

All riders must have a valid WWA membership to compete. You can obtain membership onsite during registration and rider check in on Friday August 13th or sign up online at: www.wwa-europe.com/?page_id=135

Nearest Airport: Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport

From the Airport you will need to take a train to either Utrecht or Houten Central Stations or you can rent a car directly at the airport.

Directions to Down Under Cableway

From Utrecht Central Station, take bus 47 (Connexxion) in the direction Houten. You will get out of the bus at bus stop Koppeldijk. From there it is 5–10 min walk to the Down Under cableway.

From Houten Central Station, take bus 48 (Connexxion) in the direction

Nieuwegein. You will get out of the bus at bus stop Koppeldijk. From there it is 5-10 min walk to the Down Under cableway.

Directions to Host Hotels

From Utrecht Central Station to hotel Van der Valk, take bus 47 (Connexxion) in the direction Houten. You will get out of the bus at bus stop Hoofdveste. From here it is 4 min walk to the Hotel.

From Utrecht Central Station to the hostel StayOkay, take bus 41 (Connexxion) in the direction Wijk bij Duurstede. You will get out of the bus at bus stop Rhijnauwenselaan in Bunnik. From there it is 10 min walk to the StayOkay hostel.
