WACO, TX (March 15, 2019) – The 2019 Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships presented by Rockstar Energy is set for August 29th – September 1st at BSR Cable Park in Waco, Texas. The second stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series, this action-packed event features the top professional wake park riders in the world along with all WWA amateur divisions competing in both Features Only and Traditional Cable disciplines.
The Nautique WWA Wake Park National Championships event will serve as the final stop of the 2019 WWA Wake Park National Points Chase Series. Each season, wake parks across the U.S. host a local series of events to qualify riders to compete for team and individual national titles. Amateur riders must qualify through their local wake park series to compete in the National Championships. All Pro divisions may qualify through their local wake park or in the National Championships pre-qualifying round.
Continuing in the global expansion riders will also be able to qualify to represent their team at the 2019 WWA Wake Park World Championships presented by Nautique held at the Mayan Water Complex in Playa del Carmen, Mexico through the introduction of the WWA Wake Park Global Points Chase Series. Open to all full and two tower parks, 2019 is set to see both Points Chase series expand exponentially with even more parks from around the world joining this exciting grassroots event series. Focused on community and rider development, all ages and skill levels are encouraged to compete in the fun format that has given many of today’s top riders their start.

Each year this event sets the bar for wake park competition worldwide bringing together the nation’s top amateurs along with an international field of elite pro riders in a family-friendly environment that pushes the sport and inspires the next generation.
