WWA Announces Exciting Expansion with State Championships in 2024

Auburndale, FL, (March 5, 2024) – The World Wake Association (WWA) is thrilled to share its ambitious plans for 2024, as it gears up to roll out WWA State Championship events in select states. The WWA’s initiative to broaden grassroots event opportunities for riders across all wakesports disciplines is set to reach new heights with the introduction of these highly anticipated state-level competitions.

In 2024, the WWA is planning to host WWA State Championships in Florida, Texas, Colorado, and Georgia, providing an unparalleled platform for local talent to showcase their skills and compete in approachable competition. This strategic expansion reflects the WWA’s commitment to fostering the growth of wakesports by creating accessible and competitive opportunities for enthusiasts in key regions.

The inclusion of State Championships is a significant step towards establishing a more structured and linear path of events within the wakesports community. By incorporating state-level competitions, the WWA aims to expand on it’s inclusive platform that caters to riders of all skill levels, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.
