There  is less than 4 weeks to go before the Protest Cable Call and second stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series in the Netherlands, August 13-15, 2010. The weekend promises some spectacular action at the new Down Under Cableway & Wavesurfer www.downunderrecreatie.nl in Nieuwegein, Holland.

Top riders such as Nick Davies, Tom Fooshee and Lior Sofer  have already confirmed their participation. More big names are expected including a number of Dutch riders such as Maxine Sapulette, Sjors van de Kerkhof and Mike Ketellapper.
This puts the spotlight on the Protest Cable Call! Never before have so many top riders travelled to the Netherlands for a wakeboard event. Dutch crowds should get ready for a wakeboard weekend of exciting tricks, pumping tracks provided by various DJs and an awesome party on Saturday.

The WWA Wake Park World Championships will be showcasing the best riders in the world at the Hip-Notics cable park in Antalya, Turkey from September 27th – October 2nd. As the most prestigious event in the sport, wakeboarders and wakeskaters will travel from across the globe to fight it out for the World Champion title. The event will encompass 13 different professional and amateur divisions, and as the 4th stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series the Pro Men will be earning points towards an overall series winner.

Sparks, Nev. – Fans lined the shores of Sparks Marina today to catch the final rounds of action at the Air Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships, presented by ROCKSTAR. Throughout the day riders in six different divisions hit the water to compete for national titles and invitations to represent the United States at the Wakeboard World Championships later this year.

The WWA and the Dallas Watersports Complex (DWC) regretfully announce that the location for the 2010 Ten-80 WWA Wake Park Nationals, the 3rd stop of the Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown, will change. As originally scheduled, the event is slotted for September 17th – 19th 2010 at DWC, and will move venues to Wake Nation in Cincinnati, Ohio on the same dates.

Phil Soven took a commanding lead in the WWA Wakeboard World Series this past weekend with his 1st place finish at Relentless Wakestock in the UK.  The event took place over 4 days and included top headlining acts, the Rococo rail jam, and the boat contest held at the Marina. Over 20,000 spectators invaded the small town of Abersoch, North Wales for the weekend in hopes to watch as much live music and wakeboading  that is humanly possible in a 4 day span.

The 3rd stop of the WWA Wakeboard World Series will be taking place this weekend in Abersoch, North Wales at Relentless Wakestock in England. All the top riders on the WWA Wakeboard World Series will be there taking in the live music and enjoying Europe’s largest wakeboard music festival.
