The World Wake Association (WWA) is thrilled to share its ambitious plans for 2024, as it gears up to roll out WWA State Championship events in select states. The WWA’s initiative to broaden grassroots event opportunities for riders across all wakesports disciplines is set to reach new heights with the introduction of these highly anticipated state-level competitions.

  • Jr. Wakesurf – Ages 10-14
  • Beginner – Men & Women | Skim & Surf – with or without rope
  • Intermediate Women Skim [1]

  2. Advanced – turns, airs and no more than two 360 variations
  3. Outlaw – airs, multiple 360s, shuv-its and three-shuvs as well as big spin variations

  • Jr. Novice Boys – Under 14 | No spins, no inverts
  • Jr. Boys – Under 14 | Anything goes
  • Jr. Novice Girls – Under 14 | No Spins, no inverts
  • Jr. Girls – Under 14 | Anything goes
  • Beginner Men [1]
  • Beginner Women [1]
  • Masters – 35+
  • Intermediate Women [2]
  • Intermediate Men [2]
  • Advanced Women [3]
  • Advanced Men [3]
  • Expert Women [4]
  • Expert Men [4]

  1. Beginner – 0 inverts or Spins over 180
  2. Intermediate – 1-3 inverts, no spins over 360
  3. Advanced – 4-6 inverts, no spins over 360, no mobes
  4. Expert – 8-10 inverts, no spins over 540 (women) / 720 (men), no more than 1 mobe (women) / 2 mobes (men)
  5. Outlaw – 12+ inverts – Add anything goes to 12+ inverts must be pro level rider to enter
