About the WWA

By admin

Created for Riders By Riders.

The WWA is a non-profit organization created by wakeboarders for the advancement and progression of wakeboarding. We do this by sanctioning and supporting wakeboard events on a global level.

Of course it’s not that simple… The WWA is compiled of Riders, Organizers, Sponsors and you – the active WWA membership – who support wakeboarding!

If you want to know more , talk to riders, talk to organizers and visit our sponsors. But the best way to learn about the World Wakeboard Association, is to join today and participate.

    Dear sir/madam,

My name is Nick Maas and I’m working on a school project for which I’m trying to find the size of various markets in the extreme water sports category, including wakeboarding. I was wondering if you could give me some information about the size of the US wakeboarding market, in dollars and/or in the numbers of wakeboarders. If you do not know these numbers, do you know where I could maybe find them?
I hope you can help me.

    Kind regards,
    Nick Maas

    Greetings,

I’m writing to ask for your help in getting the word out about a contest we’re running to GIVEAWAY one of our brand new FreeRide universal towers by Aerial Wakeboarding which will retail for $1699 USD.

The FreeRide is a radical new type of universal wakeboarding tower. At first glance, the FreeRide looks more like an OEM wakeboarding tower than a traditional universal tower. The forward swoop, reinforcing buttresses, rotating racks, dual overhead bars, folding frame, and a tow point nearly 90-inches off the deck give the FreeRide all the characteristics of a high-end OEM tower. Best of all, FreeRide can be mounted on nearly every type of inboard boat suitable for wakeboarding. The FreeRide will be available exclusively from authorized Aerial Wakeboarding dealers in May 2010.

To link to our contest entry form, go to http://www.aerialwakeboarding.com/freeride-contest

If you have any advertising or promotional programs or utilize an affiliate network that would allow us to promote our new tower to your members and fans I’d appreciate some information.

Please feel free to call me to discuss how we can work together. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    John Walsh

I am writing to you guys because I am trying to get some help with a wakeboard camp.
I would like to put on a small camp this summer at my home town lake. The wake scene is small but seems to be growing. I have had my insurance lady try to find a company to cover the camp but we are not having any luck. I just heard about your site and will probably be joining no matter what happens with the camp. Do you know of any companies that cover these events or would it be able to be piggy backed on the wwa for a fee. I’m looking for any options.
    Thanks for your time.

Hi my Name is Carl and i am throwing a small Memorial day party on Lake Travis on the 31st. I have a lot of things going on, bands, give aways, bikini contest, water park, and more…. I wanted to do a small wakeboard demo with a grinch winch atattched to the back of my house boat where the riders could hit a kicker ramp. It would be very simple and the riders would be local guys that are already members of the wwa. I need to know how I get covered and become a part of the wwa as a venue for this event. Time is most definately not on my side, thank you and i look forward to hearing from you.
