This premier series of events, in partnership with the World Wakeboard Association (WWA), invites riders of all ages and skill levels to experience world-class coaching, camaraderie, and competition. The 2025 Rider Experience will span three regions, providing access to top-tier watersports across the nation.

The Malibu Rider Experience is renowned for its combination of fun, community, and skill-building opportunities. Each weekend is packed with activities, from hands-on clinics with professional athletes to family-friendly entertainment, culminating in exciting wakeboarding and wakesurfing competitions. Participants can immerse themselves in the world of watersports while enjoying the latest innovations from Malibu Boats.

2025 MALIBU WWA RIDER EXPERIENCE DATES
Malibu Boat dealers in each region will host the WWA Rider Experience events. Beginning in the Eastern region and working its way across North America.

East Region: Winter Haven, Florida Known for its scenic lakes and vibrant watersports community, Winter Haven is the perfect setting to kick off the Rider Experience. Participants can expect warm weather, calm waters, and expert coaching in the heart of Florida’s lakes region.

Central Region: Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri Famous for its expansive waterways and stunning landscapes, Lake of the Ozarks offers a central hub for watersports enthusiasts. The Rider Experience here promises thrilling competition and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for families and riders alike.

West Region: Colorado: Set against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the West Region stop in Colorado offers an unforgettable experience. With clear blue skies and refreshing mountain air, this is a must-attend event for watersports enthusiasts in the western United States.
Continuing on the success of past years, the 2025 Rider Experience Series is combining the excitement of the Malibu Boats Just Ride Tour to offer one full demo day and two days of amateur competition.
Day 1: Just Ride Tour Demo Day: Experience the latest Malibu lineup and receive 1:1 time with some of Malibu and Axis’ Pro Team Riders. Registration with your local dealer is required. The Just Ride Tour schedule will be released in May 2025. For more information, visit here.
Day 2-3: WWA Regional Championships: Wakeboard, Wakeskate, Wakesurf, Foil. WWA National Championships qualifying competition. Open to All ages, All abilities.
The WWA Regional Championships is the competition aspect of the Rider Experience, providing competitors with the opportunity to earn their spot to the 2025 WWA Wakeboard and Wakesurf National Championships. The series embodies Malibu’s commitment to fostering the next generation of riders while celebrating the passion and dedication of the watersports community.

Qualification Rule:
The WWA Regional Championships will continue to qualify and rank riders for the 2025 WWA Wakeboard National Championships. All athletes must compete in their respective WWA Regional Championship to be eligible for the 2025 WWA Wakeboard National Championships.
