(August 8, 2017) – The World Wake Association (WWA) and Malibu Boats cross the Atlantic as Austria welcomes wake on the Danube river for the Malibu Vienna Pro presented by Rockstar Energy September 1-3. The second stop of the Malibu Evolution Pro Series and seventh stop of the Wakeboard World Series (WBWS), this premier event will feature the world’s best wakeboarders and wakesurfers behind the world-class Malibu M235.
The Malibu Vienna Pro celebrates the growth of wake in Europe as the WWA continues to work with partners in delivering world-class competition around the globe. These events catapult our unique sport, highlighting a family oriented lifestyle on the water and progressive riding that inspires enthusiasts worldwide to take part.

In 2017 the WWA Wakeboard World Series has seen the most intense competition in wakesports history, making the Malibu Vienna Pro one of the season’s most anticipated events. With only one final stop to follow, riders have to leave it all on the Danube for their chance to become the WBWS and Malibu Evolution Pro Series Champion.
The world’s best wakesurfers are set to put the fastest growing wakesport on display at the highest level behind the massive wave produced behind the Malibu M235. Competing on one of watersports largest stages, the Malibu Vienna Pro attracts an international field of wakesurf athletes with all eyes on them at this Malibu Evolution Pro Series event.
