MALIBU RIDER EXPERIENCE CENTRAL SHOWCASES TALENT ACROSS ALL DIVISIONS

FT. WORTH, TX (June 29, 2020) – The Malibu Rider Experience Central brought together the region’s top amateurs, first-time competitors, and Jr. Pro riders for a weekend of fun on the water with host dealer Waterski America in Ft. Worth, Texas. The weekend kicked off with Shreddin’ Saturdays giving competitors, families and friends the opportunity to focus on rider development and experience the endless wave of Malibu’s Surf Gate technology with their favorite Malibu Pro athletes. Sunday’s WWA Regional Championships Central was not to be missed with every division showcasing inspiring spectacles of athletic ability.

“The Malibu Rider Experience Central is always the highlight wake event of the summer for this region, attracting competitors and recreational wake enthusiasts!  We had such a blast witnessing so much progression on the competition scene paired with the up and comers taking inspiration from the Malibu Pro athletes all weekend long. We look forward to being back in Texas for the WWA Wakeboard National Championships next month!” commented WWA Executive Director Corrie Wilson.

Laying down his unique style Thomas Herman (IN) annihilated the wake of the Malibu 23 MXZ to take the win in the Jr. Pro division throwing a mute cab 7 and an indy roll to blind to secure his final score of 91.67. Brett Powell (KS) came in second throwing a huge T/S B/S 540 for his final score of 83.33, followed by Noah Wildman (IN) in third with 78.33.
